3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Satchel $895 // Messenger Bag $750
There always comes a time when shopping for an investment piece that you ask yourself, do I go for the ‘It Bag’ and risk being over it the next season… or the ‘equally cute but not as hyped’ similar bag from the same designer? Seeing as how this bag has kept my interest since 2011, I can say for certain that hype is not a contributing factor. Now, I’m not necessarily saying I’m purchasing one or the other (one can dream though— and it is my birthday this month…) but if I did, which would you pick? I also love this in Petrol Green and Aubergine.

That is a big dilemma, especially for me because I tend to stick with one bag for awhile. I honestly like the 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli bag in black. Though it maybe the style now, I still think it can translate into a classic handbag, especially if you go with a neutral color like black.
