Black Glitter Converse

Hi everyone :) This is a quick post to show you a simple DIY I did last week. I decided revamp an old pair of Converse to give them new life since I hardly ever wear sneakers. So I went with this glittering technique and just painted on some black fabric paint and sprinkled on the black glitter. The result is a super cool sparkly shoe that I can’t wait to incorporate into my wardrobe.

Do you think that if I have dark blue converse and using black fabric paint and black glitter it’ll work ? Thank you

i did a diy glitter ankle boots but they are really stuff and uncomfortable from the glue to walk in so how did you avoid this as i have a pair of Converse that i dont wear in pink.

    thanks

By putting glue on them, you’re going to make them more stiff so that’s kind of unavoidable. But try not putting so much glue, more like a thin layer. And I would recommend using fabric paint since that’s more elastic when you wear it.

They sell waterproofing spray in camping sections of stores such as Wal-Mart. It is a clear…glaze of sorts. It really works and would help keep the glitter from falling off.
