What to do with all that leftover ribbon from the holidays? Try doing these fun ribbon nails! I chose silver colors for the polish and ribbon to celebrate New Years Eve, but you can experiment with all kinds of color combinations for any occasion.
[Sally Hansen] ‘Celeb City’ Polish, [Nails Inc] Caviar Top Coat, Metallic Ribbon (similar)
Paint the base coat and while it’s still wet, lay a piece of ribbon down the middle of your nail. (I cut the ribbon in half lengthwise to make it skinnier to fit better on the nail.) Wait for it to dry then apply the top coat.
When it’s fully dry, cut the ends of the ribbon with nail scissors or clippers and enjoy!
